4/3/2010: JAMES CAMERON ON GOLD COAST

On the eve of the 2010 Academy Awards, where his film Avatar is nominated for nine Oscars, James Cameron travelled to the Warner Studios on the Gold Coast to talk about his enthusiasm as producer of the new $30 million Australian 3D feature film, Sanctum. Cindy Nelson reports for Screen Hub. James Cameron: declares '3D for Everybody!'

‘Last night was my first night on the Gold Coast, but I was aware of the facilities here’, said Cameron of his trip Down Under. He went on to say he would consider setting up production here alongside other locations, like Vancouver or Wellington, because of the ‘professional crew base at this world class facility’, which spells good news for film professionals on the Gold Coast.
